This Church has adopted the great command and the great commission as the basis of our goals.
The great command and commission repeated by Jesus as recorded in Matthews gospel are: -
Matthew 22:37-39 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself."
Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
From these verses we have adopted the following as our goal: -
Love the Lord your God. ..Worship ......... We celebrate God's presence.
Love your neighbour .........Ministry.......... We demonstrate God's love.
Go make disciples..............Evangelise.......We Communicate God's Word.
Baptise them.......................Fellowship........We incorporate God's family.
Teach them to obey............Discipleship......We Educate God's people.
